I was sorry to leave Moronville after such a good time staying in such comfort, but got on the road again just after nine. Weather better but still overcast and strong cross wind. Eventually reached the Loire about 30km east of Orleans and had a good cycle along the banks of the river until I reached Sully sur Loire. Found Patrick and Ros on camp site just on north side of river. Walked into Sully and enjoyed good meal, then returned to camper van for a Jameson or two.
10th May
C'est mon anniversaire! Ros cooked great breakfast to celebrate, two birthday cards a Rugby World cup cap, and "Magnetic Mary" as birthday presents. Patrick and I are going into Sully to take a look at Chateau this afternoon and book birthday meal.
